AMIA 2011 Annual Symposium- Improving Health: Informatics and IT Changing the World

From October 22 to October 26, 2011, the BIRT Fellows traveled to Washington, DC for the Annual American Medical Informatics Association. According to the Symposium website, "The AMIA Annual Symposium is the primary forum for the presentation of research and development related to the structure and management of data, and the design, implementation and evaluation of information systems in the field of biomedical and health informatics."
Esteban Gershanik, a BIRT fellow, will be gave a talk at the symposium this year.
