My background is in engineering and project management with a degree in mechanical engineering and experience managing product development at Xerox. I first became interested in health informatics during medical school when I helped introduce iPads into the curriculum. I just finished residency in Pediatrics at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore in Bronx, NY and assisted with the hospital's transition to a new EHR. My research focuses on clinical decision support and using new technologies to communicate with patients. I am a Clinical Informatics Fellow at BCH and am excited to begin the Masters Program to develop my technical skills and learn how to better apply principles of biomedical informatics in the clinical domain to improve patient care
