I worked as a software consultant prior to residency, which I did in Internal Medicine at a large urban safety-net hospital. While there, I became interested in the potential for informatics to make clinical care more efficient and cost-effective for uninsured and under-insured patients. My research interests are in the areas of clinical informatics and decision support.
